MUTATE EVOLVES - OUR FINAL SHOWCASE!
Taking place in the Courtyard Theatre at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama on the 12th and 13th of March 2025.
'Mutate Evolves' is a celebration, showcasing solo work from each member of the Mutate Collective and will be a two day festival of installations, screenings and performances.

We are Mutate
We have Mutated

Over the last 3 years, our collective has been Mutating inside and all over EVERYTHING
In our emerging state we gushed in our spoils, leapt onto fancies and flirted wittingly with newness
Through sprawling, we began our amalgamation; fervent limbs and potent words struck new bounds, and thorny feelings punctured the soft animal of exploration
Though the journey grew large, we did not grow weary – our spillages tightened, and our spines flexed mightily in the face of adversity

Now we celebrate!

Chai pours from great heights, and we dance hot and sticky in the aroma. A cacophony of giggles and gossip bleeds heavy, crumbs line the lips of lovers and candlewax pools in their palms affectionately – the party is in full swing my dears!
Like any good party, nooks of fairies steal away to jackalope companions, and their stories weave pink delight in the evening sky – ribboning and unravelling like sweet smoke. In this tender time, they glaze fingertips to the water, to the soil, to each blade of grass where solace is found in the moon’s resplendence.
The party rages on in the other room as we are stuffed triumphant with tonight’s top goo. The fish and bone ragtag crew have hung their hats, and the mighty mess has hit big snooze.
We offer good rest in the knowledge of tomorrow’s tidying. Our cleanup will be plentiful, and thus our evolution will not end

We break, Re-shape, Dilate
Diverge, Relearn, Mutate
