Eli is an experimental artist and performer from Malta. Within their practice, they are drawn to slippery middles and in-betweens, often exploring this through porous mediums such as sound and video. Eli has started to playfully enmesh processes such as coding, programming, mechanical, electronic and robotics engineering in their work, using silliness to counter the rigidity that tends to govern these disciplines. Apart from experimenting with robotic entities, Eli is also currently developing their practice in alternative game design, with a particular focus on making play more approachable and accessible.
