Em is a multimedia installation artist and describes their work as archival and nostalgic. Their work delves into themes of liminality and ephemerality, while exploring the realms of childhood nostalgia and memory. Em’s work often engages with queer ecologies, examining the fluidity of existence and drawing from lived experiences. Em’s practice utilises a diverse range of mediums including: (but not limited to!) stick-and-poke tattooing, film photography, ink drawing, writing, and stop-motion animation.
