Nemo LoveLace (he/they)
Nemo's Work: Pages 20-21
Nemo’s practice is often an attempt to understand their world through ritual; repeated behaviors extending past comfort and descending towards compulsion. He kneads bread; he sews nettles; he cooks onions. Nemo explores resistance through domestic tasks, queering the ways we relate to one another by stretching the mundane aspects of life to their limits. They play with time through durational projects, exploring what the prolonged effort of a performance does to its contexts of labour and intimacy. At its heart, Nemo makes work about the people he loves, and the ways that he loves them.
